Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the game Core Strike collects, why, and what you can do about it. The game is published by Core Telecom (VAT RO38528306), which is the controller of the data described here. You can contact us at office@toptel.ro.
What we collect
- Player name. When the game first connects to our server, you get an automatic name such as guest_123456. You can change it in the game settings. Names are visible to us and may be shown to other players in the future (for example in leaderboards).
- A random game identifier. The game stores a random secret key on your phone so our server can recognize your game. It is not linked to your phone number, email or contacts.
- Game progress and results: high score, unlocked round, credits, upgrades and weapons, and for each finished round: the round, score, credits earned, win or loss, duration and time.
- Technical information: the game version and your phone model.
- Approximate location (country) and network: the country you connect from and the name of your internet provider, both derived from your IP address when the game connects (we keep the country and the provider name, not the IP address); the name of your mobile operator and whether you use Wi-Fi or mobile data, as reported by your phone.
- Usage and advertising statistics: how many times you open the game, how long you play, how many ads you watched and the estimated ad revenue reported by Google for those ads.
- If you connect a Google or Facebook account (optional): the account identifier and, for Google, the email address, so you can recover your progress on another phone.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or messages. Our server uses your IP address only briefly, to find your country and internet provider and to limit abuse (too many requests); we do not store the IP address in the player database. Country and provider lookups are done on our own server, using the IP Geolocation by DB-IP database (CC BY 4.0).
Advertising
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about your device and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice at any time from the game's settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Google settings. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Why we use this information
- to keep your player name unique and your progress safe;
- to understand how the game is played (for example, which rounds are too hard, in which countries and on which networks it is played) and improve it;
- to prevent cheating and abuse;
- to show ads, which keep the game free.
The legal bases are the performance of our service to you (your account and progress), our legitimate interest in improving the game and keeping it safe, and your consent for personalized advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. Game data is stored on our own server. Advertising data is processed by Google as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your player data while your account exists. If you delete your account, it is removed from our database immediately; copies in our backups are overwritten within 14 days. Accounts that have not been used for 2 years may be deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing or ask for a copy of it, by writing to office@toptel.ro. You can delete your account at any time in the game (see how). You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).
Children
Core Strike is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
